Beware of the potential danger behind your appliances

Uncoated brass gas connectors could be in your home. Many people are unaware of these dangerous connectors – they are often out of sight behind appliances. Simply put, brass connectors represent a significant failure risk. Given the potential danger, it's a risk you should take seriously.

Over the years, we've performed more than 11,000 inspections and removed more than 20,000 dangerous connectors. And despite that fact that brass connectors haven't been manufactured since 1980, we continue to discover and remove connectors from homes built after 1980.

We continue to find them in homes both old and new, as shown in the last few years.
