How We Give

Corporate Giving
Corporate Giving is our primary mechanism for supporting local nonprofit organizations that align with our strategic initiatives and pillars of giving. On an annual basis, Nicor Gas provides upwards of $2.5M in corporate grants.
The Nicor Gas Foundation
The Nicor Gas Foundation allows us to broaden our charitable reach, focusing on Illinois-based nonprofits that support Community Enrichment, Economic Mobility, Environmental Stewardship and other initiatives.
Nicor Illinois Community Investment (NICI)
NICI is a standalone foundation established by Nicor Gas in 2021. NICI supports bold economic development initiatives that help local communities. NICI's place-based approach prioritizes investments in Joliet, Rockford and South Suburban Cook County.
