2023 Nomination Procedure and Schedule

In 2023, Nicor Gas will again follow an administrative procedure to handle nomination requirements on NYMEX holidays when Nicor Gas is open for business and to better align nomination schedules with market trading in situations where trading for the month has ended.

Nicor Gas will continue to send a DAILYNOM file each business day containing requirements for the following gas day(s).  However, when Nicor Gas is open for business on NYMEX holidays, or when trading for the month has ended, Nicor Gas will not change the group’s Estimated Use and Daily Delivery Range on those days from what was published as their estimates in the previous day’s DAILYNOM file – except when needed to meet Critical Day requirements, Operational Flow Orders or as needed to meet business or operational needs

The following is a schedule of nomination requirements for the impacted periods throughout 2023:

DAILYNOM File:                                  Contains “Required” Daily Delivery Ranges for:

Friday, February 17, 2023                    February 18, 19, 20 & 21

Thursday, April 6, 2023                      April 7, 8, 9 & 10

We hope this process continues to streamline operations for suppliers participating in the Customer Select program.  Nicor Gas reserves the right to modify this process in the future as needed to meet future business requirements.
