Nicor Gas partners with nonprofit organizations with programs that contribute to clean air and the conservation of green space like the Brookfield Zoo – together we’re working toward a cleaner, more sustainable future that improves the lives of our customers and enhances community wellbeing.

Brookfield Zoo hosts its Holiday Magic event each winter and our employees helped prepare for the event during Volunteer Week by sorting through and testing some of the more than 2 million twinkle lights that are displayed annually.

No matter the season, patrons can also visit the “Fueling our Future” exhibit at Brookfield Zoo where energy savings tips, safety tips and advice on how to create a greener future are presented.
