And, as we bring renewable gas solutions to market, we help to create local high-paying clean energy jobs and attract new businesses that rely on natural gas in their manufacturing processes or as a component in their products

Biodiversity & Environmental Stewardship 

We have a long history of doing our part to minimize environmental impact. Dedicated to meeting or exceeding all state and federal laws and regulations, our subsidiaries protect diverse habitats in our service territories by avoiding impacts from the start of a project, minimizing unavoidable impacts and restoring land, water and other natural resources back to conditions before construction. We also work with environmental agencies and community leaders to monitor, test and clean up any archeological sites where a manufactured gas plant once existed. Engaging with organizations such as the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and The Nature Conservancy, we help develop local solutions for eliminating invasive species, climate-proofing prairies, restoring coastal ecosystems and protecting endangered native plant and animal species.

Volunteering is an opportunity for us to live up to our commitment to strengthen the communities we serve. Through our volunteer programs, we’ve planted pollinator gardens, cleaned up waterways and run food, clothes and toy drives to meet the urgent needs of our local communities.
