Nicor Gas named a Top Utility Environmental Champion by Escalent
NAPERVILLE, IL. – May 4, 2022 – Nicor Gas has been named an Environmental Champion according to the Cogent Syndicated 2022 Utility Trusted Brand & Customer Engagement™: Residential management advisory study from Escalent, a top human behavior and analytics advisory firm. The results designate the top 31 utilities among 140 surveyed for winning high marks from their customers for their environmental stewardship. More than 73,000 residential electric, natural gas and combination utility customers were surveyed as part of the study.
To be named an Environmental Champion, a utility needs to show customers its commitment to supporting the environment by promoting clean energy, enabling consumption management, facilitating environmental causes, encouraging environmentally friendly fleets and buildings, and consistently seeking ways to protect the environment.
